Robin E. Davis M.D. (Age 59)
Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Earline Davis; sister, Donna Crawford Townsend; nieces, Blair and Madison Townsend and a host of other loving relatives, friends and colleagues.
Service will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 15th & V St. NW, Washington, DC. Visitation and Ivy Beyond The Wall ceremony at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment Private.

My sincerest sympathies to the family of Dr Robin Elaine Davis. I was a patient of Dr. Davis for about 6 years and just found out that she passed away. August 18th 2022 was the day I found out I had cancer and she quickly returned my call with the most calming words and what my next steps should be. One of the nicest Drs I have ever had and she will truly be missed.

I just learned of Dr. Davis' death. She was a wonderful and caring physician. I hope her memory and style of care lives on. She was patient, a great listener and kept me healthy!

Sending our heartfelt condolences and prayers to strengthen and comfort the beautiful family of Dr. Robin Davis-her loving and dear mother Earline, sister Donna and nieces Blair and Madison. I came to know and admire Robin through my close family friendship with Donna whom I met back when we both taught in DC Public Schools, and also went through graduate school together at GWU...Robin was completing medical school around that same time. What I remember and admired so much about Robin was her warmth, her quiet, strong countenance, her kind, humble spirit, her beautiful smile and her diligence through completion of her medical degree and career in Pediatrics which undoubtedly inspired many. We just loved visiting Earline who always welcomed us into her exquisite home and treated us like family. Around Thanksgiving, we remember being in awe at how beautifully Earline´s Thanksgiving table was set. Donna told us that it was Robin who would set/decorate the holiday table.so beautifully.
Keeping the Davis and Townsend families in our prayers for God´s comfort, grace and strength through these difficult times. Rest in peace, Robin.

Oh my god! I am so sorry to hear this. Dr. Davis was the first physician I went to in many years after having no real doctor once I transitioned to college and away from my pediatrician. She listened to me and made me feel welcome. She was the epitome of what good healthcare should look like and positively impacted the lives of many. More than her profession & clients, she was a human being with family and friends who loved her and I send my condolences to those close to her.

I just learned about Dr. Davis' passing. I want to also say just how wonderful a physician she was. She gave of her time so generously. I never felt rushed in her care. She asked more questions than I can recall any other doctor doing, really trying to get to know me. I take better care of myself because of her. She will be missed.

I am so sad to hear this about Dr. Davis. I LOVED her so much. She was the BEST doctor. She listened, she was informative, my therapist and my rock. I am truly saddened to hear that she passed away. I heard today that Dr. Davis had passed (and cried in the aisle of CVS upon hearing the news.) She was my doctor for many years and I will always appreciate and be amused by her many perfectly timed "um mhm - pause - yeah" responses to my ridiculous self-diagnoses before telling me what was really going on. May her family find peace knowing she helped so many.

Robin was a classmate of mine in medical school. Although we did not keep in touch over the decades, I remembered her quiet humor, sense of style, professionalism and easy demeanor. She was a member of the "the Spleens" ( a parody of the Supremes).. singing trio at one of our medical school comedy shows / roast called "the smoker" . She was always optimistic and I know that her patients would have appreciated her bedside manner. Very sorry to the family for the loss of a remarkable, gentle, humble woman.

I will miss my dear friend Robin. We were school friends from 7th grade to 12th. We were close friends for many years following school. We celebrated out August birthdays every years by treating ourselves to dinner at an expensive restaurant. As Robin had the best taste and distinguish style. Earline and Donna, my heart is with you in the passing of your daughter and sister. Although I´ve know Robin for many years through "Dickie", in recent years, I came to know her as "Dr. Robin". She was my Primary Care doctor in 2019-2022. She was the one who called me and had to deliver my diagnosis of breast cancer. She did it in such a caring and respectful way. I will miss her smile, and caring demeanor.
