ROBIN GROSS
My dear wife, ballroom dance partner and adventure travel companion died on October 23, 2018 at age 64 from Alzheimer's. We were married for 32 years and have two wonderful children - Leah and Sophie. Robin was a brilliant biology and natural science teacher with a B.S. from Antioch College and M.Ed. from University of Virginia. She started a business, Science Encounters/Techno-Kids, teaching after-school science enrichment, science-themed birthday parties and summer camps. She also taught 7th grade science at The Potomac School. She will be missed by so many, but especially her two sisters, Bobbi and Betsy. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Adat Shalom Synagogue, 7727 Persimmon Tree Lane, Bethesda MD 20817. I am so, so sorry to hear about Robin's passing. I'll always remember her spunkiness (if that's a real word), quick wit, brilliant mind, and dedication to her students, but most especially to Sophie and Leah. I hope Sophie, Leah and Ed find peace now that the Robin we knew is freed of her horrible disease.

We were so sorry to hear of Robin's passing. We will always remember her vibrant spirit, love of life and adventure and her fierce devotion to family. There will always be a special place for Robin in our hearts.

I am so sad to hear of Robin's death, and my heart goes out to you, her husband, and her children, for how hard it must have been in these past years. I was friends with Robin at Antioch but hadn't spoken to her since perhaps our forties. She was beautiful, vivacious, brilliant and inspiring in her work, generous, and fun.
