I worked with Rod at Printers II in the 1980's. I was a single parent, and Rod took interest in my young son, giving us tickets to the Redskins games over a number of years. He was a man who had a soft spot for children, and was a blessing to me and others. Condolences to his family. Rest in peace, my old friend. Your kindnesses will not be forgotten.
