On May 25, 2016 of Camp Springs, Maryland. Loving husband of Ruth Beverly Whitson; father of Kellye Smith and Eryc Whitson; brother of Ricardo Whitson (Joyce), Evelyn Wilson Lucas (Tim), and Valarie (Mable) Draggs; grandfather of Simone, Samaya, and Samani Smith. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Visitation June 3, 2016, 10 a.m., Service 11 a.m. at Maple Springs Baptist Church, 4131 Belt Rd., Capitol Heights, MD 20743
