ROSE MANNION Obituary

ROSE MANNION
Rose La Rossa Mannion, 58-year resident of Chevy Chase and Potomac, Maryland, gently passed away in her sleep at her son's home in Fayetteville, Georgia on July 9th, 2021. She was holding her daughter-in-law's hand when she took her last breath. Rose was 102 years and five months old. An ever active and enthusiastic beacon of optimism, Rose was a cheerful blessing to those around her. She was a human whirlwind, driving until the age of 98, dancing at her 100th birthday party, playing bridge with dear friends well past her 100th birthday and never missing a chance to go out and eat dinner at Bethesda Country Club. Rose left us as she lived, always thankful, always upbeat. She is greatly missed. Rose is preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Mannion. She is lovingly survived by son Robert (Sonja) Mannion, Jr. of Wildwood, Missouri, grandchildren Kim (Chris) Selby and Craig (Michelle) Mannion, and son Richard (Jan) Mannion of Fayetteville, Georgia, grandchildren Richard Grant Mannion, Mary Elizabeth Mannion, Brad Mannion, Katie Rose Mannion and three great-grand children. Rose was laid to rest in Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, Georgia on July 12, 2021.
