Ruby LaVerne Downs
Passed away on October 2, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Downs Creque and Susan Downs, sons, Mark Downs and Robert Downs, Jr., grandchildren, Dwon Downs, Cherrye Jeter, Yvette Rhe Downs, Mark Downs,II, Dayna Downs, Renee Abdullah, Ana Lisa Creque and Edra Creque, great-grandchildren, Yasmin Downs, Cameron Creque, Amir Abdullah, Terrell Chavis, Torren Chavis and Torrie Chavis and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, 5301 North Capitol Street, NE. Ruby was my supervisor at Share Computer Center 3rd Mass. Ave. N.W. DC. Ruby & I were serious lifelong fans of Washington Redskins! We proudly had bragging rights as fans especially when they won. We also loved her Strawberry Cheese cake when we had parties at work. Loved Ruby cause she was a good Supervisor who cared. May she RIHP!! Karen Jordan
