Rubye H. Sullivan, 88, of Snow Hill, MD and previously of Silver Spring, MD, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born May 26, 1915 in Tullahoma, TN, she was the daughter of the late Rubye Hix and Watt T. Himes. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul B. Windom, in 1953 and her second husband, Thomas C. Sullivan , in 1981.
Mrs. Sullivan was a member of St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church in Silver Spring.She is survived by a daughter, Sandra M. Wilkinson and son-in-law William L. "Larry" Wilkinson of Snow Hill; a grandson, Thomas Paul Wilkinson and Tina Madison of Laurel, MD, and two great-grandchildren, Andrea M. Wilkinson and Michael R. Wilkinson of Silver Spring. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 9:30 am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Aspen Hill, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Snow Hill Fire and Ambulance Company, P.O. Box 83, Snow Hill, Md. 21863.
