We at Metro Maryland are so very sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She was a regular attendee at our Zoom and Holy Cross Hospital meetings. She shared and contributed her experiences to help others.
We send our sincere sympathy to her family.

The first time I met Ruth was in Dublin, Ireland. She was there with Mike for an ICRM meeting, and I will never forget it. During that time, I was traveling with Mike due to the different work projects we had together, and Ruth told me that she wanted to meet the woman that was traveling with his husband. She told me that after meeting me she was not going to worry about me traveling with Mike. After that we always spent time together during all the trips she joined Mike. She was a wonderful person and always had many stories to tell.

Ruth was one of my bridesmaids, a best friend through our years at Forest Park High School in Baltimore. We had many overlapping friend and family relationships but did lose touch in later years. I was impressed by her long and deep service to Hadassah, one of my own life membership organizations, and am amazed of what she accomplished in life along with raising her four children. A life well lived.....May she rest in peace.
