ALMA JANE COLES
Peacefully on May 6, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Pastor Walter Coles; devoted mother of Zelda (Ken) Shields, Martin and Tina Coles. Also survived by a brother Truman Chambers; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Friday, May 13 from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at Greater Revelation Baptist Church, 7617 Allentown Rd., Ft. Washington, MD. Interment Washington National Cemetery. Arrangements by BRISCOE-TONIC FUNERAL HOME, (301) 632-6624.

The death of "Mother Coles" indeed brings sadness to our family. Yet, the powerfully precious memories of her extrordinary life provide tremendous comfort. She was truly God's gift to her family and the community she called home. I will forever be grateful for her care, encouragement, instruction, correction and, above all, love she imparted into my life..,Mother Alma J. Coles, rest in God's peace.
