On Friday, September 8, 2006. Beloved mother of Tavon, Jade, Gregory and Michael; sister of Pavin and Trevor. She is also survived by one aunt, Raynell Mason; a host of other relatives and dear friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. until time of Homegoing Celebration, 11 a.m. at Van Buren United Methodist Church, 35 Van Buren St., N.W. (off Eastern Ave., N.W). Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHNSON & JENKINS FUNERAL HOME.

She's in a better place. ShaVon will be missed. Its hard to think of her as being gone. She was part of my family, we spent many serious and fun times together. May God bless the family and keep them Holy.

My condolences to the family. I will always treasure happy memories of Shavon in our hay day of partying and having a good time. She may be out of sight but she will never be out of mind.
