Shirley H. Davin (Age 88)
Shirley Heyob Davin of Kensington, MD passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Joseph Davin, Jr. Loving mother of Thomas Davin, III (Marjorie), Mary Davin (Carl Robbins), William Davin, Jean Clary (Frank) and James Davin. Proud grandmother of Thomas Davin, IV (Alessandra), Madeline Davin, Jack Davin and Peter Davin. She was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Lawrence, and is survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Shirley was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 30, 1934, to Helen and George Heyob. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Angels High School in St. Bernard, Ohio and Trinity University in Washington, DC. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church, 9705 Summit Ave, Kensington, MD, on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund (Scholarship Fund), 9705 Summit Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895 or the OLA Education Fund, 4320 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45214.
