SHIRLEY GRABB Obituary
Shirley Mae Grabb
Born in Cheboygan, Michigan December 29, 1923 to Arthur and Lena A. Lafrinere. She died June 30, 2021 at her home in Fairfax, Virginia. She married James E. Grabb September 23, 1961. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and enthusiastically volunteered at the Church, The Gardens at Fair Oaks, and Fairfax Nursing Center. Shirley enjoyed golfing, bowling, hiking and camping, and always had her family and the care of the elderly and the activities of youth at the center of her being. She was a member of the Army Navy Country Club. She is survived by her husband, Captain James E. Grabb, USCG (Ret.); sons, Paul A. Grabb, MD (Brenda, MD), and Mark L. Grabb, (Colleen); and five grandsons, Declan, MD, Gavin, Clark, Miles and Owen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday July 22, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Virginia.
