Shirley A. Spears
On Sunday, August 29, 2021 departed; She was married to the late Clarence H. Spears, Sr; Mother of two sons, Clarence, Jr and Charod Spears; one daughter, Angel Sellers and a dear sister, Loretta Collins. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jazmin and Jayden Spears with many extended family members. She worked for 20 years as a Legal Administrative Specialist with the Department of Treasury until she retired in February 2004. Relatives and friends are invited to Shirley's Celebration of Life on Friday, September 10 at 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Fort Foote Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.www.KalasFuneralHomes.com

I always felt loved with Shirley and Loretta. Ma Bert was my second mother. I was so sad to hear about her passing. I lost my brother in March, Donnie Ayres and it is a reminder of just how close families are. I am going to miss seeing her on Facebook and her love for everyone especially that little one which always put a smile on her face. Thinking of you entire family with love.
