On August 13, 2016, Siegfried "Sigi" Rowe; beloved husband of the late Edith Rowe (nee Barondes); devoted father of Jessica Rowe (Howard Berkowitz); dear brother of the late Ruth Kriegsman, Leon Rowe, Max Rowe and Gustel Rapaport; loving son of the late Elias and Rosa Rowe; adoring grandfather of Michael Berkowitz and Rachel (Corey) Ehly.Funeral services will be held at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center -The Meeting House, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia MD 21045, on Tuesday, August 16, at 11 a.m. Interment Columbia Memorial Park - Columbia, MD. Please omit flowers. "Sigi" was a dear friend,mentor, scholar,shining example of what being a mench really meant. He has a special place in our hearts as he officiated at our children's weddings and participated in their bar and bat mitzvas.He gave so much of himself to others. Even in his waning health he conducted bible classes at Riderwood, the retirement community where we and he lived. We shall not forget his myriad of good deeds and will always cherish his friendship. We'll miss him.
