I still think of Stan pretty frequently with a great deal of affection. He made such an oversized impact on me as a 16 year old. I miss his steady gaze and his warm temperament. I still think of Stan as my second father who taught me commitment, dedication and humility. I miss you Stan.

Stan was one of my coaches in swimming and diving at NVAC... I still remember many things he told me. But most memorable was he used to do this relaxation exercise where we would lay on the pool deck and do a body scan and relax every part of our body before each swimming event. I still do this before I go to bed.
Rest In peace and love dear coach!
Kind regards to his family and friends,
Mary Albrittain
