My parents were close friends of Sophie and Dave, as well as Harriet and Stan Silverberg, and through them, I came to view Ruth, Stan and the next generation of Snyders as my friends. Stan was a wonderful, sensitive, thought provoking person who will long be remembered. When his grandchildren have a life decision for which they need some help, I hope they will ask themselves what Stan would have thought, or what questions he might have asked to help them reach the optimal decisions.

I didn't know Stanley well personally, but work for his insurance agent. He was always so very kind to me...a pleasure to speak with. Some people speak to you like you are hired help. I will miss you, Stanley. Your calls always brightened my day.

Dear Ruth and family,
Our sincere and heartfelt condolences on your loss which also is ours. Our relationship with your family goes back a long time - to 9th and Quackenbos Sts. - and through many years. When ever we met those years just melted away immediately. Stanley was always a great guy and a mensch.
