I've known Steve since we were eleven years old, so he was truly my oldest friend in the world. Especially since having just seen him days before his passing, talking and joking around that we both certainly assumed we would be able to continue doing for many years to come. My heart goes out to his wife and son, as well as to his entire family, especially to Kathy and Jim whom I've known almost as long. Some of us are now getting to the age where experiencing the loss of old friends is no longer unheard of, but this one really hurts. I'll miss you Steve.

I'm shocked at the suddeness and saddened by Steve's passing. I've worked with him for decades, always exchanging pleasantries as we'd pass in the hallway. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time, wishing them peace.

I've known Steve for over 35 years and found him the best of radio technicians. He always cooperated with me to find the bugs in my tuner design. I was shocked to learn of his passing. God hold's Steve as He bring him home to heaven. Chuck Dexter

I worked with Steve for more than 25 years and he was loved and respected by his co-workers. He represented the company honorably by always giving his best effort. He always placed the customer first and cared very much for those he worked with. Steve was a man of high ethical and moral character. We will miss him. Steve may the angels welcome you into heaven.

My last words to Steve were "You Trouble Finder!" Unlike a trouble maker, those words were a most sincere compliment to his ability as a Technician and he knew always how much I appreciated his support in that role. DRS misses him and I miss him personally.

I am so saddened and shocked to learn of Steve's sudden passing. I worked with Steve for nearly 30 years at WJ/DRS. Steve was well respected by his many peers. Steve loved his family, and was so very happy when his son, Jimmie was born to him and his wife Phoung. Steve adored his son, whom he spent so much quality time with. God bless all the Madden family at this difficult time in your lives. With heartfelt sympathy, Lena Crown
