I never met someone who was as witty and knowledgeable as G-Daddy. I loved visiting with G-Daddy on our Trips to Alexandria. May you rest in Paradise.

Steve was an outstanding friend as we were raising our kids in Alexandria together. Have missed him these last several years but think of him often. A great prayer partner and warrior. Thanks Steve for your wisdom and insight.

I knew Steve since I attended Alexandria Assembly of God. Steve served on the board of Kids Konnection for many years. He was a blessing to those who knew him.

I have known him all of my life since I lived 2 doors down from him on N Furman St back in the day. He was a gem and a godly man. He will be missed !

Despite his small statue, Steve was a top high school all-around athlete who inherited his outstanding athleticism from his father Billy, an All-Met High school standout athlete in Washington, D.C.
He will be fondly remembered as a diligent and very personable career U. S. Postal Service employee, a loving husband, caring father and grandfather, and an entertaining oracle of old Alexandria tales, some of which may have actually been true!
Rest in peace Steve.

I knew Steve from our time in the Alexandria Post Office. He is a man of God as evidenced by his compassion for people and the unborn. On behalf of our mutual friend and co-worker, Bob Pierpoint, Bob will greatly miss the phone calls from Steve that he made to Bob as much as 3 times a day. Bob had high regard for Steve and their friendship over the last 75+ years.
