On Friday, December 10, 2004, beloved husband of Maria Utterback; beloved father of Kirstin Utterback, Kelli Knight, Julie Hoffman, Lori Marsan and Duane Utterback. Also survived by two brothers, Dow and James Utterback; two sisters, Mary Virginia Houck and Nancy Lindgren; nine grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Services to be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, December18, 2004 at Battlefield Baptist Church, 4361 Lee Hwy., Gainesville, VA. Interment Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kirstin Utterback College Fund, c/o Chevy Chase Bank, Signal Hill Branch, 9560 Liberia Ave., Manassas, VA 20110, Attn: Kathleen Hong. Kirstin and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I never met him but I know he raised a loving caring daughter. I'm Nathan Trammell's mom. When Nathan died, you did some things for our family that I will never forget. You are special to us and and your dad will always be with you in spirit as Nathan is with me. I'm so sorry.

Our sons, Kevin and Craig went to school with Stewart's children and went on the same school bus. We used to live down the road from them on Orlando Road years ago.
