June,Don,Ken
We are just back from time at Sanibel in Florida. So very saddened to learn of Stu's passing. I regret so very much that our paths didn't cross often in the past few years - my great loss. I shall always remember him as a kind, gentle, considerate, reliable, intelligent solid friend and much admired Navy man. In our days together on Nebraska Ave and at Ft Meade, he was a thorough soft spoken professional who could always be counted on. When Stu spoke, all in his presence listened. He was also a great carpool mate with a keen sense of humor and an interesting, stimulating conversationalist which helped greatly in relieving the boredom of the 60 odd mile round trips.
In some small way, we share your great loss. We were indeed blessed to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love

When I started attending Potomac River Jazz Club events some 10 yesrs ago, Stu and June were the first to welcome me and they continued that hospitality ever after. It was always a pleasure to be with them, and I hope to keep seeing June at PRJC and related events.

We were very glad to be with Stu & June on the final JazzSea cruise last month. He had a good time, especially when listening to Buck Creek's jazz. Thanks to Don and Elizabeth for bring them on the cruise. And thanks to Stu for all he had done to support traditional jazz in the DC area.
