Sylvia Watson Giese
On Thursday, March 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John C. Giese; mother of J. Christopher Giese (Liz); Patrick Giese (Lillian), Sylvia Casey (the late James Casey), Alexis Giese (the late Paul Rolniak), Virginia Leuprecht (Herb) and Rev. Fr. Samuel Giese; grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of eight. Along with her husband, Sylvia raised her family in Clarksburg, WV. Sylvia taught French, Spanish and Italian at Liberty High School before retiring to Crystal River, FL. Recently lived in Bethesda, MD to be close to family. Visitation will be at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814 on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11 a.m. Sylvia will be interred with her husband in Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Services. www.colefuneral.com
