TANYA YVETTE SPINKS-STEVENSON "Snookie"
Departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Beloved wife of Thurgood Stevenson. Also survived by sons, Lamont and Joseph; daughter, Latay; five grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 20 at HODGES & EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME, 3910 Silver Hill Road, Suitland, MD from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham.

To the incredible woman who birthed me...you will be remembered and held high on this day of February 20,2016. I Lamont R. Cockrell will uphold the values that you have taught me and shall never be forgotten. I love you mommy for all that you subjected your self to, to raise us and to keep us safe and comforted. You have finally found your place in the heavens and may god keep you by his side, if he knows like I know your one of his strongest angels...and may he give you, your island of "JUBLIP" because you earned it.
