THELMA D. ROGERS
On Tuesday, September 13, 2016. Loving and devoted mother of Anthony (Valerie) Rogers and Arnold Rogers; beloved sister of Gwendolyn D. Perry and Fred Davis. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Erika Clay, Shenell Rogers and Amber Rogers; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Rogers will lie in state at First Baptist Church of Marshall Heights, 4934 B St., SE on Wednesday, September 21 from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 12 noon. Interment will be Friday, September 23 in Louisburg, NC. Services by STEWART.www.stewartfuneralhome.com

To the Rogers family: I may no longer be family but my daughters are and no matter what, Thelma D. Rogers will always hold a special place in my heart. I can truly say that she was the best Mother inlaw that a daughter inlaw could ever ask for. She was one of the best cooks that I have encountered and you will truly be missed. Rest In Paradise and I thank God for allowing me to be a part of your family and a part of your life! Love ❤ you always!
