My sincere condolences to Lea and the Pedas family. Ted and Jim personified brotherly love, and Ted. and Lea were an unforgettably warm, charming and elegant couple. I am fortunate to have known them.

My condolences and prayers to the Pedas family. Mr. Pedas and his brother did a lot for Farrell High School, and for that we will be eternally grateful. May he rest in peace and his memory be forever eternal.

As a student in his first 2 classes at FHS, where him and his brother George had gifted the Ted Pedas Planetarium to the school system, I got to experience him as a teacher, mentor, & friend. Through his generosity myself, and several of his students were able to experience the launch of Apollo 16 from near the VAB with the crew families and invited guests. We also got to experience the newly open Disneyland. A great man, of great achievments..

About fifteen years ago, I went to Ted to ask his advice regarding a somewhat complicated real estate investment. He listened patiently while I attempted to explain the ins and outs of the deal. When I concluded, he asked if I had discussed the investment with Kay, my wife. I responded that I had, and that she didn't like it. He asked if I hadn't figured out that Kay was always right, and that even if she was inexplicably wrong, she had to be right. Maybe 5 years later I figured out what he meant. I didn't do the deal, and we're still married, and I can't claim that she has ever been wrong.
