Thanks to Theo for his many volunteer years with the Rockville Sister City Corporation. His energy and devotion made our Pinneberg-Rockville swim exchange a huge success. A fine and friendly soul.

Dear Pat,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear husband. We will never forget his support to the Rockville Sister City program and his trip to Pinneberg. We enjoyed reading about his family ties to Germany. Remember death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory not one can steal.
With deepest sympathy,
Brigitta Mullican, a dear Sister City friend

Dear Pat and family,

it was with very deep sadness to read about Theo's long and serious illness and to learn that he passed away. Our sincerest condolences, from me and from all your German relatives, are coming to you this way.

We are thinking back on many visits of both of you in our Schwabenland, visits full of joy and filled with Theo's fine sense of humour. We loved these visits and had the privilege of hosting you many times. Theo had this great interest in travelling and in researching the family history.

As for me, I was repeatedly welcomed so very warmly in your home in Rockville starting with my first U.S. trip in the summer of 1991. Family gatherings took place on your patio with Victor (and others) who, even though in his high age, was verbally still the vigorous fighter for worker's rights. These are lasting memories. You and Theo took care for Victor and Sophie so devotedly in their later years.

We share your pain and wish you strength to get through your grieving time.

With all my and our sympathy,
Jurgen

Memories a plenty from PiKA and Carnegie Tech and many years after when we've been in touch. Fun times, unforgettable. The last few have been tough especially on Patti and the family who heroically have carried Theo through these last dark days.
