My family and I are so sad to hear this news. I have been thinking of him a lot lately even though it has been at about 7 years since we saw him last. My family and I were patients of Dr. Dooley's for over 20 years. He was a great doctor with a natural intuition and wonderful store of knowledge and wisdom gained over a lifetime of helping people. We will always miss him and know it is not likely we'll have another doctor like him. God bless you Dr. Dooley.

Tom was a friend as well as a good doctor. He stood up to insurance companies and hospital bureaucrats to protect my family's health on a number of occasions. I wish him peace and love.

As a nurse, I enjoyed taking care of Tom's patients when we were both still at Montgomery General Hospital because he was so pleasant and really cared. His patients loved him. As a member of Sandy Spring Friends Meeting and part of the Friends House community, I learned to appreciate him more. I regret that I was not home to say goodbye and thank you to such a kind person.

My deepest sympathy to all the family, in their loss. I was a nursing supervisor @
Collingswood Nsg Ctr in Rockville, Md, when he was the medical director there. He was a wonderful doctor to all his patients & the staff, and will be greatly missed, by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dr.Dooley was a most dedicated servant of the National Lutheran Home, serving for years as the Home's Medical Director. As the Home's executive director, I worked closely with him. He was interviewed on the Home's 100th anniversary videotape. We shall always honor the memory of him, serving so faithfully and skillfully the medical needs of our aged residents. The Rev. Dr. Richard D. Reichard, retired executive director, National Lutheran Home for the Aged, Rockville, MD.

The world has lost a great medical mind and a caring man. I know that the returning injured soldiers whom he treated are in better shape because of him. Everyone in the hospital knows him. The busiest man I know. He will be missed.
