On Friday, June 14, 2013 of Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of Patricia F. Ferry; loving father of Michael Scott, Timothy, Denny, Patrick Ferry and Kelley Christ. Also survived by six grandchildren. Friends may call at DEVOL FUNERAL HOME, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Dr., Potomac, MD on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment private. Ill never forget how kind Tom was to our family. As our across the street neighbor he was always there to offer help, emotional support, great advice and wonderful stories. He was like a third parent to our son. He loved his family and his life. His memory is a blessing.

I don't think I could ever imagine growing up in a different neighborhood, ever. To be as lucky as I was to have grown up in a neighborhood where a man like Tom Ferry gave so much back to his neighbors; it only makes me smile, that much more. God Bless you all & I know that Tom is organizing a Tug o' War or softball game right now, with all the folks that are waiting for us....

Mrs. Ferry, Scotty, Timmy, Denny, Patrick and Kelly - I think I am still in shock but know that your dad lived a great and full life. Third Street beach in Bethany has some wonderul memories because of your dad. I will treasure those always - we need to have a party on the beach and toast to him!

Dear Pat and family,
My heart is breaking for your loss. Tom was such a good person, friend and neighbor. He was supportive of Stefan and I as parents, always lent a helping hand and was a great presence in Gregory's life. We had many conversations over the years and in each and every one of them his pride in each of his children and in all of his grandchildren came shining through. You all made his life a happy one.
