Katie & Ava,
Even though I met Tom only a couple of times...he was truly seen as the love of your life, and to love you so. How happy you both were at the Baby Shower for Ava. Tom was excited on becoming a Dad, he looked so handsome smiling. Jamie,
Larry and your family were so proud of him, and loved him very much.
I was proud to have known him too,
May God Bless you & Ava and make you strong...
May prayers help to heal the hurting of Jean & Peter, Kate, Drew, & Dan
Tom will always be Our Hero.
Love,
Darlene, Bill, Emmy, Kate, & Steve Straka

Dear Kate, Ava, and the Sullivan Family,

I’m so sorry for your loss and wish I could be with you at this time.

I admired and respected Tom so much for the husband he was to you, my wonderful niece, the doting father he reveled in being, the loving and respectful son, brother, and friend he was, and the service he performed for his country and for each of us. He had true class and was respected by all who knew him.

There is nothing I can say right now to ease the pain you are feeling. Just know as always I am there when you need me. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I taught Tommy 8th grade English and my wife (Ms. Kubacki) taught him 7th grade English at St. Anselm's Abbey School. I remember to this day how Tommy was always smiling--even after I kept telling him to tuck in his shirt!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Sullivans during this difficult time.

Jeanne and Family -- I am so very sorry for your loss. I have heard so many storied about Tom over the years. I know how much he was loved, and how much he will be missed. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
