Tiffane Jefferson Obituary
On Wednesday, July 7, 2004, devoted mother of Xavion A. Jefferson; daughter of Sonja L. and Justin L. Jefferson; sister of Maya J. Jefferson and Kristian M. Jefferson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. The late Miss Jefferson will lie in state at Second Baptist Church, S.W., 1st and M Streets, SW, Friday, July 16 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., Rev. Perry L. Radford officiating. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Services by STEWART.

To the Jefferson Family,
My blessings go out to the Jefferson Family. Especially Xavion. You all will be watched over by GOD.
There aren't any words to explain how I feel. At first, I felt mad & angry. Now my heart is in a healing stage and I still don't know what to do.
I've known Tiff (Strawberry) since Benjamin Stoddart, 6th grade homeroom. I will never forget, when I first met her. She had a lot of fire inside her meaning(she didn't take anything off of no one). She always had me laughing, getting me in trouble in Ms. Tombs class. But, it was cool. Because I acted up just as well as she did.
We grew together as adolescent to young ladies into woman. I always thought that me, Tiff, Tammy, Tamara, and Candra were going to our 10 year reunion. It feels like what is happening is so unreal.
I will miss you at the park every other Sunday and at Mama's for dinner. It will never be the same without you. Your laughter, our group talks and discussing each other's issues.

I met Tiffany back during our Shugart days and we bumped back into eachother when we both met again at Gwynn Park until I transferred. Me and Tiffany always managed to bump back into eachother no matter what. We had recently started seeing eachother alot more once I noticed her working at Brothers Barbershop in Lanham and we had been in contact from time to time. Tiffany was a wonderful person all the way around. I did not want to believe that something so terrible had to happen to her. I had to call the owner of Brothers Barbershop to see if this was really Tiffany because I did not believe. My heart still hurts.
My prayers go out to the family and to her son. What everyone is saying is so true. She loved you more than you can imagined. To her family, let it be know that Tiffany had a strong impact on everyone that was touched by her or who came in contact with her at some point in there life...I will miss you Tiff.

Tiffane, losing your presence in our lives in such a devastating way has really affected me. You were so viberant and so full of life. My heart, and so many others' hearts are so torn. God bless you and your family. Especially Xavion....he'll be okay because he is strong and good just like you.

You arrived early one November morning after a long day shopping-Yes, you loved to shop. Our very own radiant angel.
Early on you captivated people with the gift of dance, whether it be in formal recitals or family celebrations. We danced together at weddings, cookouts and parties. Everybody would say "who's that little girl?"
You grew into a lovely teenager full of spirit and life, yet we still danced togeter but now, at cabarets late at night.
You chose a profession that stimulated your creativity. Just like the artist that created Tiffany glass. You created works or art on women's heads and just when it seemd to our earthly eyes that your career was on the rise,God called you to Heaven to make styles in the skies.

The Plan Of The Master Weaver
Our lives are but fine weavings,
that God and we prepare.
Each life becomes a fabric planned,
and fashioned in His care.
We may not always see just how,
the weavings interwine.
But,we must trust the Master's
hand and follow his design.
For he can view the pattern
upon the upper side.
While we must look from underneath
and trust in Him to guide.....
Sometimes a strand of sorrow
is added to His plan

I remember meeting you for the first time at Shugart and how we use to walk to and from school together. We had good times and I will cherish those memories until we meet again. My deepest deepest sympathy to the Jefferson family. My heart is filled with such emptiness, and sadness just knowing that our remaining time here on earth will never be the same again without our beloved family member, and friend. Tiffane may be gone, but not forgotten. her memory will live forever in my heart. Her great big smile along with that great big heart lives on. I am persnally greatful that GOD will allow us to meet again. Special prayers go out to Xavion. Your mommy truly truly loved you, and most of our conversations consisted of how she only wants the best for her son, and would do what she needed to achieve that goal. Tiffane you will be truly missed. I have never met anyone with a heart as big as yours. When we first met about 10 plus years ago at Second Baptist, I knew the type of person you were right away. If I had to describe you in five words they would be: sweet, kind-hearted, devoted, honest, and loveable.

I met Tiffane last year when we worked at Creative Hair Studios.From day one Tiffane was very nice to me and very helpful and she made me feel comfortable working there. Tiffane was a very determined woman, no matter what she did and she loved her son dearly.
