TYRONE JONES-WEBB Obituary

Tyrone Maurice Jones-Webb
Son of Missy and John Webb, was born March 2, 1966 in Alexandria, VA. He went home August 5, 2015 at Capital Caring Hospice in Arlington, VA."Mr. Tyrone' was the Business Manager for Teddy Bear Day Care and Preschool. He started in October of 1981 as his Mom's 3-6 afternoon aide. Throughout his time in the centers, he nurtured and guided thousands of children with his own personal convictions of right and wrong. He was fair and respectful, taught good sportsmanship, and was always there to comfort fears and tears. Tyrone had many passions, including driving dignitaries in his limo, helping keep the peace at local watering holes, being an Elks member, and serving as a table parent at Providence Presbyterian. In all things he pursued, caring for and helping others was a top priority, which came from his strong faith in God. He will be remembered best for his "wicked" sense of humor, practical jokes and for greeting every person and every day with a smile. Even during his long three year battle with cancer, he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone. Tyrone is survived by his loving family: his sister April "Lynn' Webb; his half-sister Tammy Brown; his half-brother Michael Jones; his niece Storm "Lexis' Webb; nephew Dakota "Codeman' Webb; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his life companion Andrea "Kami' Williams. The family would like to thank Capital Caring Hospice for all the caring support they provided. The viewing will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, located at 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151. The service is to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church, located at 9019 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003. The internment is to follow the service, and will be at Fairfax Memorial Park, located at 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032. In honor of Mr. Tyrone, we have create a donation page to the American Cancer Society. His Mosaic page can be found at www.main.acsevents.org/goto/MrTyrone.

Rest In Peace Ty, you were loved by and will be missed by many. Your time on this earth was too short but your impact was felt by all who met you. You were a big teddy bear and my family fell in love with you.

Never Forgotten

I remember Uncle Ty, it was my fourth month working for teddy bear daycare, rainy day. We were putting the last few boxes away when there was this heavy banging on the outside door, I freaked out while Cody casually walked to open the door, the minute I saw him I knew he wasn't a bad guy, just a big guy with a bigger heart, few people leave an amazing first impression in my book, and Uncle Ty happened to fill the first page

On behalf of the Jones, Chastine and Barber families we take this moment to extend our condolence and sympathy to the Webb family, Tyrone's extended family.

We are deeply sadden by the loss of our love one. Time and great distance separate many of us from key knowledge about Ty's suffering. He was a kind and gentle giant of a man. Ty's early childhood was not without difficulty however, as he grew into adulthood he was steadfast in developing excellent character and having a wonderful impact on the lives of those he came into contact. We believe that Tyrone has earned his crown. We pray the Lord will smile upon Ty as he transitions to everlasting life with our Lord and Savior.

With loving hearts,
Jones, Chastine & Barber Families

Tyrone was a very nice person. He was the kind of man that would do what ever he could when helping others. He was not selfish. Always showed that beautiful smile.
