Of 3440 S. Jefferson Street, Falls Church, VA, widow of John Callaham Bagwell, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Goodwin House West. Born in Pierre, South Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Ida Nordvold Lumley. She was a homemaker and was an active member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Arlington, VA., where she was active in the Rebecca Guild. She was active in the gardening program at Goodwin House West. Surviving are one son, John L. Bagwell of Abingdon, VA; one daughter, Ms. Nancy E. Bagwell of Arlington, VA; two granddaughters, Jane Bagwell of Dahlonega, GA and Mary Bagwell of Abingdon, VA; one great-grandson, Gavin Bagwell of Abingdon, VA. Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2006 at the Goodwin House West Chapel, 3440 S. Jefferson St., Falls Church, VA with Rev. John Thomas, officiating. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, May 4, at Pruitt Funeral Home in Honea Path, SC. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Honea Path, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Goodwin House Hospice, 3440 S. Jefferson St., Falls Church, VA 22041.
