Vernon Beauleau

Vernon Beauleau, beloved husband, father, and friend, died in his sleep on January 11, 2023. He was 92 years old.

Born in Green Bay, WI, Vern joined the Navy at 17, becoming a Boilerman Technician aboard the USS Oriskany during the Korean War. After being discharged, he moved to New York City, NY with his first wife, Elizabeth, and their children: Mary Ellen, Linda, and Robert.

Vern enjoyed driving tremendously and worked for several bus and tour companies in NYC, before becoming president of both Big Apple Tours and the Pegasus tour companies.

Elizabeth died in 1976, and Vern married Sara Kysia in 1986, before retiring in 1989. He filled his retirement traveling around the world and helping friends and family start and run their own businesses.

Full of heart and generous of spirit, Vernon Beauleau is survived by his loving wife, Sara; his sister Rosemary; his grandson Michael; great-granddaughter Raelyn; and more family and friends than can be counted. Donations in his memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Service will be private.
