So sorry to hear about Veronica's passing. She was amazing with all the young children that she cared for and a wonderful neighbor to all of us in Copenhaver. What a steward of our park with timeless dedication. Our children were happy to care for her and Orlando's cats on occasion while they traveled. We will miss the sight of her and a troop of little ones passing our lawn on their way to play at the park. This kind and gracious woman will be missed. Our condolences to Orlando and the whole family.

We are honored and blessed to have known Veronica. My kids knew her as Mrs. Mason and were always happy to go to her home day care. Veronica was a sweet, positive, joyful, classy lady with a very kind heart and a wonderfull and gentle soul. She touch kids not just letters and numbers, but was a big part of their lives. She would bake cakes for kids and give them presents for their B-days. She was always N1 contact on CSES emergency list because of her reliable, loving, caring and sweet personality. It was great to see her on almost all school days at CSES yard dropping off or picking up the kids.
May God put her in a special place from where she will be watching us, the people who loved and cherished her. Veronica was a blessing in our lives and we will trully miss her.
Our condolences,
Eric and Jeannette Stewart

My condolences to Orlando and family. It was hard to believe that such a vibrant friend was no longer with us, which is all I heard. I have vivid memories of the wonderful times we had together when I lived in Northern Virginia. I am positive that she will be sorely missed by many, many people. May God help the family recover from this terrible loss. I am sure that Veronica is looking after all of you from above.

I was so sorry to hear about Veronica's passing. She cared for my four children before and after school and there was no other role model quite like her. She was a teacher as well as a friend and she will be missed by many. May god shine his light on your family and may her memory be a blessing.

Mrs.Mason-one of the first neighbors our children knew by name - always had a lovely garden and a lovely greeting for us. We will miss her so much. So sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother.

Larry, Mignon and I are sorry to hear about the loss of Veronica. My child, as well as many other children knew her as Mrs. Mason, and delighted in going to her home for family care. Please accept our condolences on the passing of such a wonderful caregiver. It was an honor to have known such a great person and we will truly miss her. I know that the children will especially miss her, as she was part of their lives for so many years. She taught them how to write their names, count numbers, and sing their home addresses. May God embrace you in comfort during this difficult time.
