Victor Lee Obituary

12/5/1960 - 5/1/2024
Victor H. Lee, 63, passed away on May 1, 2024 in Manhattan from natural causes. He was born in Washington, DC to Stanley and Nancy Lee, whom he credited for providing the foundation for his business sense and independent spirit. Victor attended Georgetown University School of Business and Georgetown University Law Center and began his legal career in New York City, specializing in real estate law at a large law firm. Victor transitioned careers to become president of a large, national intimate apparel company in New York City and established and operated his own businesses in that industry until his passing. Victor also maintained a legal practice and counseled clients on the east and west coasts. Victor was a prominent figure on the Upper East Side, maintaining his residence in the same building for over 35 years and serving on the Board as its president. He was an accomplished golfer and member of the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank, California, where he leaves behind many golf brothers. Victor's loving and gregarious personality created rich relationships as a son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He was an adoring uncle to his nieces and nephew, who will miss his mentorship and hunger for life. Victor was predeceased by his father, Stanley, and survived by his mother, Nancy; sister, Janet, and brother, Bennett. A private family service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Virginia with celebration of life events to follow on dates to be determined.

I had these photos of Victor from our early Georgetown days. The 2 from 1979 were from a summer party of GU friends at my NJ home. The 1980 image of Victor in the dark suit is from a Valentine's Day party that we (I and my roommates) had at our townhouse in Georgetown.) I remember Victor as a good friend and a consummate gentleman from our earliest days at Georgetown. He will be missed.

Dear family Lee,
Writing from France with deep sadness. Victor was originally a business partner when I was the Export Director for a French intimate company. We rapidly became friends and had many opportunities to share great time. Dinners in NYC, during trade shows, parties in Paris when we hosted Victor. I even remember lots of fun in Las Vegas. His great appetite for life, sense of humor and friendship will only leave me great souvenirs.
Brigitte my wife who got to know Victor as we were in the same company, is joining me to express our sympathy to Victor´s family.
Bon courage et sincères condoléances,
Emmanuel and Brigitte

I am very sad to hear of Victor´s passing. Victor was brilliant and the smartest person I met during my time at Georgetown. Victor will be dearly missed.

Such sad news. A serious wake up call for us all. "No one gets outa here alive dude! " -Victor H Lee circa 2010 (followed by his patented hearty laugh).
