Vincent J. Wilson, Jr. of Brookeville, MD, died on May 9, 2005. Born 1921, raised in Cleveland, OH, he served as 2nd Lieutenant in The US Army Air Corps. He was a writer/editor at The National Security Agency, authored an American history book series and was a member of the Cosmos Club in Washington, DC. Husband to the late Mary Jo Cavendar Wilson, brother to the late William E. Wilson, he is survived by his son Nicholas C. Wilson of Brookeville, MD, and his daughter Liza Jane W. Bernard and grandson Thomas Maxwell Bernard of Berwyn, PA. Services and inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, August 8 at 12:15 PM. The family suggests donations in his memory to The United Negro College Fund, 8260 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr., PO Box 10444, Fairfax, VA 22031-8044.
