VONGELL LUGO Obituary
Vongell Carden Lugo (Age 36)
A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to all, Vongell passed January 6, 2019. Born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, on January 14, 1982, he immigrated to the US in 1994. After graduating from Watkins Mill High School in 2000 in Gaithersburg, MD, he put himself through the University of Maryland and completed a BA in Sociology in 2010. He enjoyed a successful career in retail management followed by one in executive recruitment in DC. He was a devoted fan of the Redskins with a sophisticated sense of style in both fashion and food - his curry was described with reverence. His friends and family will miss his ability to bring joy to the lives of others, and life to every party. He is survived by his loving parents, siblings, and large extended family. Services private.
