Our thoughts and prayers are with Chip and his family. While it has been many years since I have seen my cousin, I have fond memories of our time together during childhood. While our time on earth is short, we can be comforted knowing we will all be together in the future. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Chip was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. There were countless times that he gave of himself to others. His great sense of humor (and guilty grins) will forever live on in our memory. We are glad we knew him. We are honored that our children will remember his thoughtfulness and his warm smile. Thanks, Grandpa Chip, we'll miss you!

Although I haven't seen Chip in over 20 years, I am saddened to hear of his untimely passing. My sympathy goes to his family and close friends.

We will always have Uncle Chip in our hearts. His sense of humor along with the smiles he always shared will forever be remembered. We know that he is now in a restful, peaceful place and will be for eternity.

I did not know Chip well as I grew up on the West Coast and he on the East Coast. I do remember visiting as a young girl the Silver Springs home of my Uncle Wade, his father, and some good times we had. I am sorry he could not attend our recent family reunion in Branson, MO. We had 18 of the 23 cousins in attendance and I would have loved to have had the opportunity to get to know him better. I feel blessed to have met Shirley, his sister, at the reunion and now have a connection with her.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and his circle of friends.

Chip will be missed. I have fond memories of our childhood (mis)adventures, and mourn Chip's departure from this life and from the presence of his loved ones. I also mourn having not known such a memorable person in the many years following our childhoods. Judging from being with him back then, I imagine the ensuing years of Chip's life were interesting to say the least. He will live on in our memories, and in the lives of all those he has influenced.

I shall always remember your smile, the different way of saying my name and so many fond memories. Thank you for sharing your memories and humor with your niece and nephew and being my brother. May you soar with the Angels my beloved brother.
