I would like to send my deepest sympathy to the Sullivan family. Wardell was a "one of a kind". We had stayed in touch over the years. I will surely miss him!!.

To the Sullivan Family,
I remember when you moved to First Street. We all grew up together we had good times and now we have wonderful memories. Wardell was like the brother Linda, Kathie, and I didn't have. My Mom loved him too. I will always remember his dance lesson and if I didn't get his turn right! what he would put me though.
Goodbye, Wardell rest in peace. You are gone but not forgotten.
Respectfully Submitted,

Cory - Although I will be unable to attend your dad's service tomorrow, I want to express to you my deepest heartfelt condolences.
I was fortunate to know your Dad during my childhood and although my memories are fond, I am certain they do not compare to yours.
Hold tight to those pleasant memories during this trying time and know that you are loved.

First of all! I would like to give God all the glory! Wardell was my first love as an adolescent growing up in northwest DC. I can remember when we used to all get together for the many dances at his house on First Street, NW. I loved his family. "Because life circumstances change, our happiness may not remain", but if we are walking with the Lord, our inner joy, He will sustain. To multiply your joy, count your blessings. The more you look forward to heaven, the less you'll desire of earth. To Wardell from Dorothy: You have a home in heaven above, from sin and sorrow free, a mansion which enteral love designed and formed for You.

I remember Wardell from the old days of McFarland Jr. High and Roosevelt High schools. We used to have lots of fun at his parents home. Wardell and his brother Tommy were "Good People".
May God Bless Him and His Family.
