WAYNE PIERCE Obituary
Wayne M. Pierce (Age 88)
Wayne passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 with family by his side. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Carole Lorene Pierce, survived by sons, Richard Pierce and Randall Pierce; daughters, Karen Lindsay (husband, Sean) and Katherine L. Lischke (husband, Thomas); brother, Steven Pierce (wife, Betty); and granddaughter, Brigid Lorene Lischke.Wayne devoted much of his life to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, starting as a carpenter, and eventually rising to General Treasurer for the union until his retirement. He worked tirelessly to secure stability and job quality for all members. In retirement, he and his wife opened Carole's Antiques, operating the business until Carole's passing in early 2018 at the age of 83. For memorial contributions, the family has designated the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (https://alzfdn.org/). Services will be held privately at a later date.
