Dear family,
I was so terribly shocked to learn of Billy's death. I have known Billy from the second grade and went all the way through college with him and then lost touch with him after graduation but never lost memory of him and all of the activities we shared together. I had only fond memories of him and always wondered what successes he amassed in his life. Obviously, besides his wonderful family he grew up with that I knew when I still knew him, he had another new family that was devoted and terribly distressed over this horrendous loss. I am sorry that I never got to meet his wife and children. If they are anything like his mother and sister or him, they are wonderful.
My heart goes out to you all for this terrible loss and only hope that with the love of friends, family and with G-d's grace and blessings that there will soon be peacefulness in this confused and sorrowful time.
