William Leckey

William "Bill" Leckey, (Age 75), of Stafford, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Eileen, and his two daughters Rebecca, and Rachael Beach (Shawn), and his siblings Kathryn Leckey Best (Robert), John (Cheryl), Rosemary Levesque, and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Leckey, his mother Theresa Leckey, and siblings Edward (Natalia), Teresa Mahan (Bill).
Bill served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After his service he worked at Kodak, Danka, VDOT and the Virginia State Police. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and attended Rolling Thunder annually. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and baseball. Bill organized the block parties and was known as "Lord Leckey".
A Celebration of Life will be held at Covenant Funeral Home at 1310 Courthouse Road, Stafford, VA 22554 from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association, Virginia State Police Association or a charity of your choice. His burial will be held at Arlington Cemetery at a later date.
