WILLIAM MIDDLETON "Bear" D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer (Ret.)
On April 8, 2012; William of Camp Springs, MD passed. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Darlene; sons William and Anton Middleton and Denard Smith; daughter Sonya Smith; 15 grandchildren; brother Charles (Anita) Middleton; sister LaVerne (Johnnie) Branch; and a host of family and friends. Visitation 12:30 p.m. Service 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at J.B. Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel, 7474 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. Interment Harmony Memorial Cemetery.

I just found out about "Bear". He was a very nice man; giving; loving and knowledegable person I had the pleasure of working with. He will be missed and this world would certainly be better off with him in it. God Bless to you all..

I first met Sgt. Middleton when I was assigned to 7D after graduation from the academy in March 1983. He was the most easy-going person/supervisor I have ever known; always pleasant.
