William Mulheron, III (Age 67) Passed away suddenly on March 17, 2021. Bill was born on August 27, 1953, in Heidelberg, Germany, and adopted at an early age. He and wife, Karen were wed 47 years after falling in love and marrying in Satellite Beach/Indialantic, Florida. Bill proudly served in the United States Army serving several years in the MEDDAC at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He enjoyed his family, fishing, gardening and his dogs. Some of Bill's best memories growing up were of his years and dear friends at Shaker High School in Latham, NY, while his adoptive father served as commanding officer of Watervliet Arsenal. His father's service duties took them to several countries, as well as many locations in the US. A graduate of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Bill was a life-long Florida Gators fan. His work as medical group administrator, building turn-key medical practices and physician recruiter took the family to many interesting places. He enjoyed teaching health care administration as adjunct faculty at George Mason University. Bill and his service dog, Blackhawk, a handsome Irish Wolfhound, provided hundreds of hours of therapy service visits to the elderly and ill. Bill and Blackhawk served the Search and Rescue (SAR) team, and Bill was quite proud that Hawk received a medal for finding a missing person. Bill lost his youngest granddaughter, Eleanora Claire Mulheron Fricke, his adoptive parents, Julia Stamatakis and Col. William Mulheron, Jr, and his birth father Philip Blackledge. He is survived by his loving spouse Karen; son William Ryan Mulheron and his daughter and family, Joyal Mulheron and Gregory Fricke; and grandchildren, Charlotte, Adishiwot and Holden; as well as his birth mother Val; and birth brothers Stephen and Graham Blackledge. A private family memorial will be held at a future date. In memory of Bill, we ask that you contribute to Evermore, a nonprofit founded by his daughter, Joyal. Evermore is making the world a more livable place for bereaved families. Learn more at
