On Thursday, September 1, 2011 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of the late Wanda W. Powell. Loving father of Marguerite (Ronald) Croy and Susan (James) O'Reilly. Grandfather of Susan Ward, Ronald Croy Jr., Katherine Croy and William O'Reilly. Great-grandfather of Brandon, Alex, Evan, William and Madison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 S. Royal St. Alexandria, VA 22314. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Peggy and Susan,
So sad to hear of your loss. I remember well the words that your Dad spoke at our wedding almost 30 years ago. I also remember how annoyed he ewas when I arrived at your house one Christmas morning VERY early all excited about what Santa had brought me.
