Following his retirement he continued to make Louisville his home with frequent trips back to visit his friends and family in England. His hobbies included golf, fly fishing and watching England or Wales win at rugby! He was a loving and generous man and will be dearly missed. Dear Connie,
It is only todaythat I learnt that Ray has passed away. WE have both served on the board of Bat Industries and have
travelled together quite a few times. Ray has always been a great colleague and I am still grateful for the advice
I received from him.
My thoughts are with you and all your family.

Connie and family. I met Ray for the first time in 1988 when he brought me and my family back from New York and hired me as CFO. I enjoyed working for Ray enormously and he taught me a great deal about working with the Brits which became very useful as my career progressed. It is difficult to imagine that proud, broad shouldered British gentleman ever leaving this earth. I am in Florida so must express my sincere condolences via this guest book. Please know that you and your family are in Colleen's and my prayers.

I enjoyed chatting with Ray when I served at St. Matthew's Church. He and my dad were friends, and my dad thought quite highly of Ray and his life experiences. He'll be missed.
