Donald Johnson Obituary
He was born Oct. 19, 1958, in Illinois, the son of Fred and Joan (Fanella) Johnson, Wittenberg.
Don and his brother owned and operated Johnson Veal, Wittenberg, for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Vikings fan.
Survivors include his parents, Fred and Joan Johnson, Wittenberg; one brother, Roy (Misty Hiller) Johnson, Wittenberg; one sister, Misty (Jim West) Johnson, Appleton; nieces and nephews, Jayden, Rachel, Olivyah and Roman; and many other family members and friends.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. The Rev. Karla Kirkeby will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

It has been almost a year this week, I lost my friend that was like no other. I thought I would be stronger but I am not! The confusion has not stopped, and I am only a friend and not family, God bless the Johnson family.
