James Antosch Obituary

Antosch, James

James F. Antosch, 66, Wausau, formerly of Mosinee, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Wausau, the son of the late Jack and Violet (Rempke) Antosch. He married Nancy Thiele, his best friend and companion, on April 16, 2008, in Rothschild. She survives.

He was employed at Foremost, Drott-Case, and for the last 25 years as a dryer operator at Lignotech. Jim had a lively spirit, beautiful blue eyes and an engaging smile. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and "cool" cars. He also enjoyed puttering around the house, landscaping and flower gardening. He kept a pristine yard and remodeled our dream cottage on Boulder Lake in Boulder Junction.

Survivors, besides his wife, Nancy Thiele, include his son, Christopher (Marlee) Antosch, Mosinee, and their two beautiful daughters, Aubree and Janae; his daughter, Erin (Dale) Ellenbecker, Woodbridge, Virg., and their two beautiful children, Skylar and Taran; Nancy's children, Jane Thiele, Wausau, Sara Irwin, Cottage Grove, Dan Thiele, Birnamwood, and Rhonda (Dr. Thomas) Staysniak, Ringle; two brothers, Russ (Violet) Raymond, Mosinee, and John "Buck" (Pat) Raymond, Wausau; three sisters, Margaret Riley, Owen, and Chris Williams and Carol Hallas, both of Mosinee; and special friends, Rudy Estrada, Patrick Green, Craig Helbach, Steven and Annette Szews, and his black feline companion, Kitty. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbert Raymond.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Family will receive friends again from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Nancy, so sorry to hear about your Jim, I did not know that you guys got married a while back. I really did not know him, but I know he was a wonderful person, whom you always talked about with joy, when we worked
together, sad to say, but my Mother
passed away the same day as Jim,
hopefully they are dancing and
enjoying a drink in Heaven together,
prayers to you and children.
