MOLLIE BRATCHER 1/17/1939 - 11/12/2025 Mollie Irene Beene Brown Southern Bratcher, lovingly known as "Momma," "Aunt Mollie," "Granny", and by other cherished names, passed away peacefully as she made her heavenly journey on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on January 17, 1939, in Bynum, Texas, to Rufus Elmer Beene and Nettie Percella Brannon Beene, Mollie touched countless lives with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. She was the devoted wife of the late Glenn Brown, G.L. (Pete) Southern, and C.M. Bratcher, whose memories she carried with grace and strength. Mollie's legacy lives on through her children: the late Shirley Faye Southern Gallegos, Billie Jean Southern Batson and husband Pat of Houston, Texas, and Steven Anthony Southern of Waxahachie, Texas. Mollie's grandchildren are Jessica Gallegos, Melissa Blevins, Jose Gallegos, Keith Batson and Melissa Southern. She was a beloved matriarch whose gentle spirit and steadfast faith guided her family and inspired all who knew her. Mollie was the youngest of five children: brother, Johnnie Morris Beene, Sr.; sisters Lois May Beene Harris; Hazel Marie Beene Futch; and brother Rufus Edward Beene. All her siblings preceded her in death. Her life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and the enduring power of love. Mollie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those blessed to have known her.
