March 13, 1944 - September 24, 2025

Bonnie Oltmann, 81, of Temple died Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Bonnie was born March 13, 1944, in Waverly, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Pearl Frerichs Niehaus.

Bonnie graduated from Clarksville High School in 1962, Allen Memorial School of Nursing in 1965, and Mayo School of Health Sciences 1981. She married Keith Oltmann on September 5, 1965. Keith and Bonnie lived in several towns in Iowa before going to Temple, Texas, where she was employed 34 years at Baylor Scott and White Hospital as a nurse anesthetist.

Bonnie was a member of First Methodist Church, American and Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetist.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Keith; two sons, David (Linda) of Cedar Park and Tom (Malu) of Dripping Springs; four grandchildren, Mario and Travis Oltmann, and Jeffrey and Tyler Dillard; brother, Donnie Niehaus of Allison, Ia; two sisters, Joyce Hirsch and Karen Miller, both of Clarksville Ia.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025 at First Methodist Church with Inurnment at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery, Killeen. Memorials may be made to First Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
