CEDAR FALLS - Christina Lynne (Smith) Piper, 65, of Cedar Falls, passed away Tuesday, October 8, at her home.
She was born September 2, 1959, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Charlotte (Conley) Piper. Christina was a homemaker for many years and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. She also enjoyed her coffee time every morning with her best friends and sister, Tink.
Survivors include: two sons: Joe (Amanda) Watts and Jeremy (Cathy) Piper; three grandchildren: Jack and Emma Watts, and Deklan Piper; two sisters: Charlene Piper and Crystal Hopwood (John); four nieces: Kim (Daniel) Monohon: their children: Parker and Pyper, Dani (Josh Buck) Hopwood: their children: Toby and Shalya, Amber Sanson: her children: Brooklyn and Kaydence, and Cassandra Hoveland: her child, Harper; two nephews: Kieth Piper (Penney): his children: Hailey and Cali and Brent (Amber) Piper: their children: Reid and Raegan.
Preceded in death by: her grandparents: Magaret and Elmer Cline; her mother, Charlotte Piper; an aunt, Beverly Freeman; two uncles: John and Jerry Postlewait; a sister, Cheryl (Bill) Sanson; and two nieces: Megan Piper and Charli Hoveland.
As a family, we rejoice with Chris, who is now healed and whole and dancing with her grandmother in heaven. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 15 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
